Love Music Junior Choir seeks new members

In partnership with Usher Hall, Love Music Junior Choir is a big choir for young people aged 8-12 from all across Edinburgh. They sing a diverse range of music from across the world in different languages, specially arranged and directed by our inspirational leaders Darla Eno and Sally Jaquet. They rehearse and perform in the Usher Hall, accompanied by jazz legend Dave Milligan.

Children don’t need any experience, they don’t need to have a great singing voice, and there are no auditions - just bring enthusiasm! The rehearsals are relaxed and fun. Children will make new friends in a supportive and inclusive space and will enjoy the thrill of performing on the Usher Hall stage.

Junior Choir members have commented that Junior Choir "inspired me to be confident", "singing makes me calm" and "I love Junior Choir so much I wish I could go every day".

Junior Choir rehearses from 4.30-5.30pm on Monday afternoons for 8 weeks within school terms. Children sign up in advance for one term at a time, to allow progression through the sessions. Terms dates can be found on their website and membership is on a pay what you can afford basis, including free places and assistance to help with travel costs.
