There must be something in the air in Vienna that produces so many great composers and musicians. Some of the most renowned ones are part of the Strauss family, who are the epitome of Viennese tradition and are symbols of the city like no one else.

Famous for their waltzes, polkas, and marches, the Strauss family is regularly programmed for New Year’s Day concerts up and down the country. However, why just play them for New Year? Their music is able to cheer everybody up and in this concert, you will hear some of their most famous compositions, such as An der schönen blauen Donau (Engl. The beautiful blue Danube), Künstlerleben (Artist’s Life), Die Fledermaus (The Bat), and Radetzky Marsch.

Not only that, we will also celebrate Scottish traditions with some very special guests and music including The Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond, Highland Cathedral, and many more.

This concert will showcase how Viennese Edinburgh can get and vice versa and is guaranteed to bring you an uplifting and celebratory evening.

So, why not bring your family along to enjoy Vienna in Edinburgh?
